Testimonials

Hi, Just like to let you know what happened to me yesterday and how Ryders glasses saved me. I’m a truckie who wears sunnies without fail. Had an altercation with the back doors of a truck opening at great speed and hitting me in the face. I have a cut that needed hospital attention and a black eye. My ryders didn’t break and saved my eye from a lot more damage than if I wasn’t wearing them. Have taken photos to highlight the “glasses shaped” bruising. I will only ever buy this brand again, and will highly recommend them.

Thanks for such a great product. Cheers Marie

Dear Ryders,

I had an old pair of "Heat" glasses I purchased quite a few years ago - I ran and trained in them 6 days a week and when they finally started to need a new lease of life I came across Neville Mason, the Managing Director of Ryders Eyewear at the Gold Coast Marathon Expo in July this year - I purchased a new pair of the same model - and a different colour ! - whilst talking with Neville, I mentioned that my "old faithfuls" had worn down on the temple pads and I wasn't looking forward to retiring them after all the years I had them - he immediately offered to take my old pair and do a maintenance job on them back in Perth and posted them back to me "as new" so I now have 2 pairs of Ryders and cannot recommend them highly enough for the customer service shown to me by the MD of the company working at the stall at an expo ! - now that's what I call great customer service - Congrats Neville on the website - took a while but i now refer many people I know in the fitness industry to your website - the product you sell and the customer service you provided me with means I will only be wearing "1" brand of sunnies the rest of my active life -

Many thanks Ross and Geoff UP2U Fitness Sydney

Dear Ryders people,

Just thought I'd share our Ryders story because we do love our pair and your eyewear does rock. My partner Jeremy bought his Ryders sunglasses about 5-6 years ago, somewhere along the north east coast of NSW whilst on holiday. We call them the X-ray glasses because the lenses have such good colour and clarity, especially when looking into the water and see everything under its surface. This pair has traveled and survived trips and falls around 6 continents. They did however acquire a minor brake on the top right of the frame along the way, which we tried to mend by super gluing together (yes, not the right way to go about it but it was the only rescue remedy at the time and place) to no avail. Saying that, Jeremy did not want to part of them as they have proved to be such good sunglasses. We have lost the right lens numerous times but found it every single time. Including once where Jeremy had his eye knocked by a metal pole (that was irresponsibly sticking out of the back of a Ute), as he was running to catch the bus to work. He got a minor black eye, a slight foul mood and was minus the infamous lens. I had a look around the area of loss and managed to locate it somewhere along the busy street and lens, glasses and owner were again happily reunited. We have looked for a store with your sunglasses to no avail, so Jeremy bought another pair of sunglasses from a famous brand that proved to be less than value for money. It wasn't a long term affair and were quickly replaced by another brand (not so big and famous but good value for money). The Ryders are still with us and used on a regular basis and I don't see us parting with them any time soon either.
Yours truly, A very happy Ryders family Miss Haris and Mr. Jeremy

I picked up a pair of the brand new Ryders Eyewear Cadence Sunglasses in the Aussie Gold colours when I visited Neville and the guys at the Noosa Tri Expo a few weeks ago. The moment I saw these sunglasses I knew I had to have some. Not only do they stand out from the crowd but they have the same great fit that my Flame models have with even better technology, particularly the lenses with the new hydro lens coating.

I have had more than a few people coming up and asking where I got my sunglasses from because they look that good and I have no hesitation directing them to Ryders Eyewear so they can experience the same satisfaction that I have with not only the Cadence Sunglasses but the entire Ryders Eyewear range.

Tough Ryders

Recently I had a spill off my bike and face planted it into a footpath. I was run off the road by a taxi on a busy street in Brisbane. Thank god I had my Ryders on at the time because if I hadn't I probably wouldn't be seeing out of my left eye now. The glasses didn't break from the force of the fall and protected my eye from any damage. Not a pretty picture but could have been worse. It made me realise it is not always only about the look with glasses, even though Ryders has it in spades, it’s also about protection.
Thanks Ryders.
